Bamboo fibre is a relatively new fibre. The fibre is produced from Bamboo pulp (like viscose pulp). The resulting pulp is wet spun in the same way as other pulp based fibres. The fibre is silky in appearance it is also soft to handle with good absorbency and can be used in blends with other fibres or 100%. It also has the unique function of being antibacterial. These fibres are reflective and will add shine similar to silk fibres.
